臨近四級考試，四級翻譯中的漢譯英是很多同學(xué)們非常頭疼的題型，怎樣處理漢譯英中的句子結(jié)構(gòu)，尤其當(dāng)碰到漢語中的長句時，怎樣處理漢語中逗號并列的很多部分之間的關(guān)系，或者漢語中的兩個短句，怎樣找到兩個短句之間的關(guān)系，將兩個短句巧妙地用一定的邏輯聯(lián)系起來，或者將短句合并成長句，使得英文譯文邏輯通順，句式顯得更加高級和復(fù)雜，就需要同學(xué)們在平時的練習(xí)中打開思路，練習(xí)更多的句式和表達方式，這樣才能在四級考試有限的時間內(nèi)寫出高級的句式。以下以新視野第三冊第一單元課后翻譯中的幾個句子為例，給同學(xué)們拓展幾種處理長句和兩個關(guān)系緊密的相鄰短句之間的處理思路，供同學(xué)們借鑒。
一、如今，很多年輕人不再選擇“穩(wěn)定”的工作。他們更愿意自主創(chuàng)業(yè)，依靠自己的智慧和奮斗去實現(xiàn)自我價值。
方法1. Nowadays, many young people no longer choose “stable” job. Instead, they prefer to start their own businesses and realize their self-value through their own wisdom and efforts.(through介詞短語作狀語)
方法2. Nowadays, many young people no longer choose “stable” job. Instead, they prefer to become self-employed and realize their self-value depending on their own wisdom and efforts.(depending on分詞短語作伴隨狀語)
方法3. Nowadays, many young people no longer choose “stable” job because they prefer to become self-employed and realize their self-value depending on their own wisdom and efforts.(兩句話合并為一句，用 “because”引出原因狀語)
相鄰的兩個短句可以分開表達，如方法1、方法2，也可以找到它們之間的邏輯關(guān)系把它們合成一句長句，如方法3。
二、青年創(chuàng)業(yè)(young entrepreneurship)是未來國家經(jīng)濟活力的來源，創(chuàng)業(yè)者的成功不但會創(chuàng)造財富、增加就業(yè)機會、改善大家的生活。
方法1. Young entrepreneurship is the source of national economic vitality in the future. The success of entrepreneurs not only creates fortune, increases job opportunities, improves people’s life, but it is also good for the country in the long term. (用not only..., but also并列)

方法3. Young entrepreneurship is the source of national economic vitality in the future, as the success of entrepreneurs creates fortune, increases job opportunities and improves people’s life, which is good for the country in the long term. (兩句話合并成一句，用 “as”引導(dǎo)原因狀語從句)
三、尤其是在當(dāng)前，國家鼓勵大眾創(chuàng)業(yè)，萬眾創(chuàng)新，在政策上給予中小企業(yè)支持，這更加激發(fā)了年輕人的創(chuàng)業(yè)激情。
方法1. Especially for the time being, our country is encouraging people to start their own businesses and make innovations and giving policy support for medium and small businesses. This further arouses young people’s enthusiasm to start their own businesses.(主句：國家鼓勵......，在政策上給予......支持，“這更加激發(fā)了年輕人的創(chuàng)業(yè)激情”單獨分開獨立成句。)
方法2.Especially for the time being, our country is encouraging people to start their own businesses and make innovations and giving policy support for medium and small businesses, which further arouses young people’s enthusiasm to start their own businesses.(主句：國家鼓勵......，在政策上給予......支持，“這更加激發(fā)了年輕人的創(chuàng)業(yè)激情”部分表達成定于從句。) |
